Learn how to utilize the integrated camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to scan Quick Response (QR) codes, allowing you to access links to websites, apps, tickets, and more.
QR codes offer a convenient way to quickly access websites without the need to manually enter or remember a web address. You can utilize the Camera app on your device to scan QR codes.
Instructions for scanning a QR code with the Camera app:
- Launch the Camera app by accessing it from the Home Screen, Control Centre, or Lock Screen.
- Choose the rear-facing camera option. Hold your device in a manner that allows the QR code to appear within the Camera app’s viewfinder. Your device will automatically recognize the QR code and display a notification.
- Tap the notification to open the link associated with the scanned QR code.
