Twitter has introduced a new feature allowing users to download videos without using third-party tools. Follow these steps to download your favorite content instantly.
Ever since Elon Musk took over in October 2022, Twitter has undergone significant changes, including rebranding to ‘X.’ On August 2, Musk announced the much-requested video download feature.
Here’s how to do it:
- Find the tweet with the video on your mobile device.
- Open the video in fullscreen mode.
- Click the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select ‘Download video.’
Currently available for Apple and Android devices, desktops are excluded. Musk plans to add a long-click option for video downloads in the future. The feature is exclusive to X Blue users, and creators can choose to prevent downloads and add watermarks for proper credit.
